At Deakin Motion Lab, projects begin in the lab and grow and evolve from there. Our research engages with new forms of technology, communication, expression, and performance, allowing us to better understand and inform the design of interactive experiences. In short, we put creative ideas into action. Because of this, we are sought after by a range of people. You might be here because you are an academic or member of the industry who sees the potential of working with the lab on an upcoming project, you might be a prospective student, or you might require an expert to talk about technology in the arts. However you found us, we invite you to get in touch.
WORK WITH US We value the expertise of others, and feel honoured to have established crucial industry and academic partnerships, most recently with Dreamscreen. We always welcome academics, researchers, and industry professionals to reach out to us if you believe that we can work together.
STUDY WITH US At DML works with students at various points on their academic journey. If you have read about our projects or seen us at an event and feel like you may like to study with us, we would invite you to email our lab director Prof Stefan Greuter at stefan.greuter@deakin.edu.au.
FIND AN EXPERT We are regularly consulted for stories that focus on our projects, as well as broader stories on the nexus of Arts and Technology. If you have an idea for a story and would like an expert perspective, please contact us and we will be happy to put you in contact with the most appropriate member of the DML.
